At PayDocker, a Token is a secure digital placeholder that represents a single payment transaction. Instead of handling sensitive financial information directly, we generate a unique Token for every booking or payout.
This Token securely links the transaction details — including amount, currency, and recipient — without exposing sensitive data.
Tokens are typically used for booking payments and are sent from buyers to suppliers/property. When Tokens are exchanged and collected by the supplier, the payment is successful.
Token and booking details are 2 separate topics, and it is possible to create a Token payment without booking details.
