Different accounts within the Marketplace
Before creating an account with Paydocker, you need to know what type of account to create first. Right now, we have 2 types of accounts in Paydocker, which are:
1. Demand Partner
Demand partners are businesses or platforms that drive bookings, reservations, or inquiries for travel-related services like flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, and activities.
Examples include: Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), other travel-related service providers
2. Property
Properties are accommodations or lodging providers that work with booking platforms, travel agencies, or other distribution channels to make their properties available for reservations. These partnerships are crucial for reaching travelers and maximizing occupancy.
Each property within the property chain will be registered under a company account (referred to as the Master Account) and will also have its own dashboard for customization.
Examples include: Hotels
Different roles within the Marketplace
Both demand and property partners will take on different roles within the transaction, depending on context. In PayDocker, we have 2 roles within the marketplace:
1. Buyer
2. Supplier
Demand partners can either take on the buyer or a supplier role depending on the nature of the transaction, however, property partners can only take on the supplier role.
Are you a hotel hoping to expand your market by putting it up with travel agencies? Or maybe {insert another situation}? You can with PayDocker — just partner up with another business and possibilities are endless!
