Gateways connect different networks and enable them to communicate by converting data. They are essential for systems that use different formats or rules. This makes gateways ideal for integrating PayDocker into your business processes or simplifying operations. In this article, we’ll show you how to connect with the various gateways available on our platform.
On PayDocker, we have 5 different types of gateways:
- Payment methods
- Providers
- Grouping
- Routing
- Connect
Payment methods

Routing
In this section, you will be able to set up and submit routes in your account for the gateways that you have connected in other sections. Routers are important for directing data packets between them, ensuring that data is routed along the most efficient path.
Here is how you can submit new routers:
Click Gateway (1) and then Routing (2)
Then click Submission (1) and + Add Submission (2)
Then, fill up this form to submit your new router
Once you have submitted this form, a submission ID will be generated and the submission will be submitted for review. You will be able to track the submissions easily through the status updates.
Once your routing has been submitted, it will remain as Draft until you finalise the details. To configure the details, you can simply click the eye icon.
Safe Routing: Safe routing refers to ensuring that data transmitted across a network is done securely and efficiently, minimizing risks such as unauthorized access, data breaches, or network failures. Safe routing often includes backup paths (redundancy). If one route fails, the data is rerouted through an alternate path, ensuring continuous connectivity and data transfer.
Block: Block refers to preventing specific types of network traffic, users, or data from accessing or traversing a network, keeping your data safe.
Once you have completed this configuration, you can click finalize to submit.
