In your PayDocker account, you can enhance security by enabling additional authentication measures. This allows you to safeguard your account with extra layers of protection, ensuring that only authorized users can access sensitive information and features. Once this authentication step has been set up, important processes would require authentication of the account.
On PayDocker, we have 2 authentication measures: via the Authentication app and via email authentication.
Accessing authentication set up
To access the authentication set up, simply click Profile Icon (1) then Security (2)
Setting up authentication via the Authentication app
(1) To manage authentication, click the "Add authentication setup" button.
(2) Select "Use an authenticator app" for the Authenticator App option.
(3) A pop-up will appear, click on Google Authenticator as highlighted above. Then, download the app and create an account.
(4) In order to set up your account, you will need to scan the barcode that appears on the screen.
(5) To authenticate, input the 6 digit code for the authentication into the text box provided by the Google application.
(6) When the six-digit code has already been entered, click continue to save the authentication settings.
Setting up authentication via email
(1)To manage authentication, click the "Add authentication setup" button.
(2) Select "Use email code" for the Email Authentication option.
(3) Enter your active email address.
(4) Click continue and wait for the confirmation in your email.
(5) Enter the 6 digit security code.
(6) Click continue to proceed in the setup process
(7) Click resend if the security code does not work, then repeat step 5.
